Technical Note of Hardware cloth (Welded wire mesh):
1. Standard roll length : 30 m, standard roll width : 0.5 m - 2.5 m.
2. Packing: Hardware Cloth wrapped in moisture-proof paper and plastic film and then either placed in a cardboard box or can be packed in a way specified by the customer.
3. Wire diameter, mesh opening, roll length, roll width and packaging of welded wire mesh are all available on request.
Welded wire mesh according to the material can be classified as galvanized welded wire mesh, PVC coated welded wire mesh, stainless steel welded wire mesh, etc.
• Galvanised Welded Wire Mesh: This type of hardware cloth mesh is coated with a layer of zinc to prevent rust and corrosion. Galvanised welded wire mesh can be classified as galvanised after welding ( GAW ) or galvanised before welding ( GBW ), and galvanised after welding ( GAW ) for better corrosion resistance.
• PVC coated welded wire mesh: This type of hardware cloth mesh is usually welded with galvanised wire and then coated with a layer of PVC to provide additional protection against rust and corrosion. A variety of colours are available to suit different environments.
Welded wire mesh can be classified into square openings and rectangular openings depending on the shape of the mesh.
• This type of hardware cloth mesh has square openings and is the most widely used type of welded wire mesh. It is commonly used for fencing, animal enclosures and construction.
• Welded wire mesh with rectangular openings: This type of hardware cloth mesh has rectangular openings and is usually used to reinforce concrete structures, as well as for fences and animal enclosures. The common size of rectangular opening is 1"*2", 2"*2", 3"*2", 4"*2", 4"*3", 4"*4", other meshes of welded wire mesh are available on request.
